My client has a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Retail Store Manager to head their team in the high end retail sector in their brand new flagship store. This is fantastic opportunity to join a first class International company who are the Worlds’ largest mattress and pillow company and is consumer focused with a clear vision. Their product is sold through leading retailers including Dreams, Bensons, John Lewis, Furniture Village and key Independents. They own outlet and brand stores in some of the UK’s biggest shopping centres and a successful online business. This position is to manage their flagship store in West London.

Role purpose

You will have full accountability for managing all aspects of the store, through your leadership you will develop you team and be brand ambassadors. You will model to your team exceptional customer service. Delivering commercial excellence, delivering and exceeding financial targets and growing profitability.


• Sole responsibility for day to day store operations

• Consistently lead and motivate your team ensuring excellent customer experience through quality product knowledge]

• Drive sales through perfect merchandising and retention, etc

• Have knowledge about benefits and uses of each product

• Aware and ensure all promotions and marketing activities are in place

• Understand performance shortfalls market changes and determine a business plan for improvement

• Ensure all aspects of stock control are executed

• Develop, mentor and train your team as well as effectively deploy management and colleagues hours within payroll budget and meeting the needs of your store

• Coach and manage your team to improve and exceed targets on the shop floor

• Ensure compliance, Health and Safety aspects of your store are current and up to date complying with regulations

• Handling sales transactions including operating of cash registers

• Participating in management team meetings

Essential experience:

• 1 years’ experience as Store/Assistant Manager with a premium brand

• Driven to exceed sales results

• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

• Self-confident, well presented, self-motivated and enthusiastic
