My client is a high end retailer of a premium brand product and is consumer focused with a clear vision. Their product is sold through leading retailers and key Independents. They have outlets and brand stores in some of the UK’s biggest shopping centres and a successful online business.
The Area Account Managers have a key role within the company. They grow sales within their areas and ensures the company always maintains a competitive hold on the area through excellent working relationships with partners and retailers. They work with retailers to make sure that they sell the product to consumers as effectively as possible. The scope of this account management role includes planning effective integrated marketing to drive specific enquiries, training and support to retail sales staff, maximising product display representation, stock order management, ensuring a premium in store experience for the consumer, identifying long-term sales opportunities within existing accounts and driving a consistent e-commerce presence. The Sales team typically presents new ideas, carries passion and professionalism in the role and is continuously looking to drive our business forward.
My client is now recruiting an Area Account Manager to visit specified stores in our South East territory. The area includes; Kent, Essex - A12 corridor, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and South London.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate a first class sales track record with a premium brand. Excellent communication skills, a good understanding of consumer marketing, an ability to develop a business plan for your territory and at interview present an understanding of the opportunities to increase sales within existing stockists. The successful applicant should demonstrate strong drive, high self-motivation and a focused attitude, capable of prioritizing and balancing their work load, whilst adaptable to timeframes and sales requirements. A can do attitude to go the extra mile to achieve goals is paramount.
