Digital Marketing Analyst

This is a newly created position for a major FMCG organisation- so everything to play for here!

The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre with ideally a Marketing or Mathematics degree ( or similar) you will be joining a team that is rapidly growing and extremely driven and passionate in their approach- hence positivity, energy and the drive for results will be essential pre requisites.

Role Summary:

• Create scorecards with key retail marketing metrics to understand the performance of digital campaigns

• Work with internal and external data sets to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of digital retail activations

• Provide insights and recommendations to local teams to improve performance against the brilliant marketing basics for products

Digital Retail Campaign Analysis:

• Create scorecards covering KPI’s to understand the effectiveness of digital retail campaigns in terms of driving brand awareness, consideration and conversion

• Provide regular reports using internal and external data sets to regional and local (retail) marketing teams

• Support the local teams in developing the digital retail marketing calendar, sharing best practices to drive ROAS and ROI

Brilliant Retail Marketing Basics:

• Track performance of brands against agreed targets for

o Product detail page compliance (assets, copy...)

o share of search - driving SEO

o ratings and reviews

Digital Shopper Journey:

• Provide insights on the shopper journey for the online toy category across the digital shopper funnel and various digital touchpoints

• Advise local digital retail marketing teams on where, when and how to focus marketing to drive conversion for brands

Online media tracking:

Provide regular insights on online media for brands and share of voice in the category for key online retailers

Person Specification:

• Qualifications in Maths and ideally in English Language


• Degree level education (or equivalent), within business, commerce or marketing

• Strong analytical skills, experience in digital marketing analytics with retail partners

• Proven experience in marketing/retail analytics

• Strong team player experience

• Knowledge of working in a cross-functional, international matrix organization

• Digital (retail) marketing skills

• IT skills: expert in excel, power BI

• Understand how to extract insights from data

• Ability to translate insights into actions

• Advise local teams on how to drive ROAS/ROI for brands

• Excellent planning
