Automotive Technical Advisor
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Are you looking to move off the tools and into a technical office-based support role? This well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced individual with solid automotive diagnostics or vehicle telematics knowledge to join their specialist Technical Support Team.
This role blends phone-based customer support, technical case handling, and installer liaison – perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems, sharing technical know-how, and making a difference to customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handling a mix of inbound and outbound calls, alongside managing live cases via Salesforce
• Troubleshooting product, installation, and application issues
• Identifying the root causes of installation concerns and providing effective resolutions
• Working closely with third-party installers to ensure high standards and timely issue resolution
• Keeping internal systems up to date and adhering to agreed SLAs
• Building rapport with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth collaboration
• Actively contributing to ongoing service improvements and support targets
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a technical automotive role, ideally within customer support or diagnostics
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive electronics, or telematics
• A confident communicator – both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive “can-do” mindset
• Comfortable managing deadlines and working under pressure
• A natural problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM is desirable but not essential
