Legal Secretary (Ad-Hoc cover)
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £17–£18 per hour plus holiday pay
We are working with a great company based in Uxbridge who are looking for an experienced and adaptable Legal Secretary to provide ad-hoc support to their legal team. This role is ideal for a flexible Legal Secretary who is confident supporting busy professionals and can step in seamlessly when required.
This role is purely to cover holiday cover and busy periods throughout the year and we are looking for someone who would love to pick up ad-hoc work but not looking for full-time, permanent commitment. We have had a hugely successful relationship with someone who has provided this cover for us for many years and has now decided to full retire.
About the Role As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting the legal team with their day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will include:
Drafting and formatting legal documents
Managing diaries, appointments, and meetings
Handling client correspondence and maintaining effective communication
Conducting legal research and managing documentation
Providing general administrative support to the legal team Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
