Service Engineer
(Electro-Mechanical)
Location: Romford, Essex
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
We are recruiting for our client, a market leader who is expanding their Field Service Engineer team to enhance their service standards. They are currently seeking positive and enthusiastic Service Engineers to cover the area.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Install, commission, and set up the company's commercial coffee equipment.
• Attend reactive breakdown and repair call-outs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide operator training on the operation and cleaning of coffee equipment.
• Manage spare parts stock holding in the service van efficiently.
• Ensure timely completion of paperwork, including comprehensive service reports.
• Proactively engage with all areas of the business and provide support to colleagues.
Job Requirements:
• Strong electro-mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Professional demeanour with the drive to represent the business positively.
• Relevant industry experience (desired but not essential).
• Coffee knowledge (desired but not essential).
• Flexibility to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative, motivation, and focus to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
