Materials Controller (Contracts Administrator)

Are you experienced in managing relationships with subcontractors? Do you thrive in an environment driven by service level agreements (SLAs)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a reputable company in Uxbridge as a Contracts Administrator / Materials Controller.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our Customer Service Team, playing a proactive role in managing our subcontractor processes. Your assertiveness and attention to detail will ensure the smooth coordination of external subcontractor activities, contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise effectively with subcontractors, internal teams, & customer services to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive subcontractor database, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.
- Coordinate external subcontractor processes and foster positive relationships to ensure service excellence.
- Negotiate with subcontractors to obtain quotes, demonstrating strong negotiation and attention to detail.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, logging relevant information accurately into our in-house system.
- Understand and adhere to SLAs and KPIs set for the Customer Service desk, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Progress calls from initial logging to resolution, collaborating closely with internal teams to meet customer needs effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience in subcontractor liaison roles, demonstrating strong relationship management skills.
- Proven experience working within an SLA-driven environment, with a focus on meeting performance targets and deadlines.
- Prior experience in telephone-based customer service roles, showcasing communication skills & a customer-centric approach.
- Preferable knowledge of IT hardware, facilitating effective communication with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
