Fabrication and Assembly technician
Permanent
£15 per hour to £20 per hour (depending on experience)
7.5 hour days
Based in Windsor, free on-site parking
Be part of a small, close knit and friendly Technician team where you will be responsible for the smooth manufacture of products.
Duties include:-
- Handling products which vary in weight (must be fit for Physical work)
- Using appropriate equipment for movement of heavy items (fork-lift training will be given if required)
- Cutting perforated stainless steel sheets and mesh
- Spot welding parts together
- Drilling
- Assembling items
- Repacking
- Checking for quality control before despatch
Skills/experience required
- Previous experience within a similar role, technician, assembler, mechanical production, manufacturing or basic engineering
- Hands on, enjoys working with component parts and building/fixing products
- A keen eye for detail and takes pride in work
- Physically fit as this requires some physical work
- Calm under pressure, easy going, friendly and a team player
