Service Desk Administrator
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £30,000
Contract Type: Permanent

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive, well-established business with a fantastic company culture. If you’re someone with strong office admin or customer service experience—especially working with field Engineers or service teams—this could be a great next step.

Based in the company’s busy Customer Care Team, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for calls and queries regarding Engineer attendance. This is a fast-paced role requiring great attention to detail, top-notch communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

– Handling inbound calls and logging issues promptly within agreed service levels
– Responding to emails from the service inbox in a professional and timely manner
– Generating customer quotes and contracts accurately
– Logging engineer calls and managing service appointments
– Creating and managing returns and stock adjustments
– Processing completed service reports and closing jobs
– Maintaining records in Salesforce and Excel

Ideal Candidate Profile:

– Previous experience in a service desk, customer service, or engineering support environment
– Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
– Strong admin and data entry capabilities
– Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
– Experience using Salesforce and MS Excel (advantageous, but not essential)
