Credit Controller
Salary: £29,525 + performance-related bonus (OTE c.£42,000)
Location / Hybrid: Uxbridge – hybrid working (3 days from home)
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own ledger, building strong client relationships, and working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. With hybrid working and strong earning potential, this role offers both flexibility and progression.
Duties include:
• Managing outstanding balances and ensuring timely collection in line with agreed terms
• Contacting customers to resolve queries and secure payments professionally
• Supporting with reconciliations and raising credit notes where needed
• Monitoring aged debt and maintaining accurate account records
• Creating and following structured plans to improve cash collection
• Working closely with the wider team to review and progress accounts
• Assisting with escalation processes when required
Experience/skills required:
• Previous experience within credit control, accounts receivable or collections
• Strong communication skills with a confident and professional approach
• Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• Good attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
• Comfortable using Excel and finance systems
• Team player with a proactive and organised mindset
