Bookings Coordinator
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour whilst temporary
Permanent Salary: £28,000 per annum
Location: Uxbridge area, office based
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm
Start: Immediate or short notice preferred
Our client is looking for a confident, organised and enthusiastic Bookings Coordinator to join a busy office-based team in the Uxbridge area.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in administration and coordination. Previous experience in a dedicated office role is not essential, but you will need strong communication skills, a confident telephone manner and the ability to stay organised while managing several priorities at once.

Duties include:
- Coordinating bookings, appointments and schedules
- Speaking with individuals by telephone to confirm arrangements and availability
- Carrying out initial telephone conversations and gathering relevant information
- Arranging interviews, appointments and training sessions where required
- Handling incoming calls and general enquiries
- Monitoring attendance and availability
- Updating internal systems and keeping records accurate
- Managing changes to existing bookings and schedules
- Following up to confirm arrangements
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
- Managing several tasks and changing priorities throughout the working day
The ideal Bookings Coordinator will have:
- Previous experience within customer service, retail, administration, bookings or another people-focused environment
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- A friendly and professional approach
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- A reliable, proactive and positive approach
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop
You do not need previous experience in a dedicated bookings or office position. This role could be particularly well suited to someone from a customer service, retail, hospitality or administration background who has developed strong communication and organisational skills and is ready to move into an office-based career.
