We have just received a FANTASTIC opportunity for a well rounded Facilities coordinator to start immediately.
Our prestigious client based near Hillingdon, is looking for someone who can be available until the end of 2020.
The right candidate will HAVE to have Facilities experience for at least 6m-1year and be able to do the in house administration side as well as the physical side in the role.
Hours of work - 0900 - 1700hrs with 45 minutes lunch break, however we would like flexibility as the role is very pro-active.
Dress code is smart casual (no jeans or trainers).
•Sorting and distributing incoming mail
•Collecting and franking all outgoing post
•Booking in UPS parcels in the morning and emailing relevant staff
•UPS/Fed-ex courier shipments
•Dealing with email requests from the site customer
•Reception cover from 11.00 - 11.30am
•Opening/Closing ground floor meeting room dividers as and when necessary
•Moving and setting up chairs, tables, flipchart easels in meeting rooms as required.
•Keeping the basement tidy and dealing with large incoming deliveries
Photocopiers - installing toner/waste toner cartridges when necessary
•Meeting room checks ie tidying up floor boxes, chairs, checking lights works, conference phones in working order etc
•Carrying out new starter site induction tours
•Fire Alarm Testing - weekly
•Carry out weekly fire extinguisher checks
•Internal staff desk moves - moving IT Equipment, chairs, pedestals from one desk to another
•Updating Facilities department spreadsheets
•Ad hoc duties as requested by Lead Facilities Co-ordinator/Facilities Manager
There will be some heavy lifting involved ie when setting up meeting rooms and collecting parcels from the basement
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•Approachable and confident in dealing with people
•IT Skills - Outlook, word, excel, internet to process UPS/FedEx shipments
•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
•Must have strong written and oral communication skills
•Flexibility in this role is key
