Legal Cashier – Leading Law Firm
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £35,000
Are you an experienced Legal Cashier seeking an opportunity to work in a leading organisation with great career prospects?
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join a well-respected law firm in Uxbridge. This role will see you join a welcoming team, providing vital support within the Accounts department. Working closely with the Head Cashier, you will assist in managing high-volume billing processes, reconciliations, and resolving queries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming payments, including cheques and direct payments.
- Managing CHAPS, BACS, and faster payments using online banking.
- Daily bank reconciliations.
- Handling petty cash payments and expenses.
- Dealing with queries in person or over the phone as they arise.
- Administering and managing funds in deposit accounts, including interest calculations.
- Supporting month-end processes as needed.
- Checking and resolving out-of-date cheques.
- General filing and paperwork processing.
- Assisting with any additional tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts team.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in cashiering or billing, ideally within the legal industry or professional services sector.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
