Part-time Fabrication and Assembly technician
Permanent with part-time hours 3 days a week
£18 to £20 per hour (depending on experience)
7.5 hour days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) 8.30am – 4.30pm
Based in Windsor, free on-site parking
Be part of a small, close knit and friendly Technician team where you will be providing support in the team with a little bit of everything.
This role would suit someone with an engineering or technician background, someone who is now looking for just part-time hours. You will need to be reasonably physically fit as you will be assisting with a bit of spot-welding stainless steel small assemblies, pushing pallets around and packing finished products into cases.
Duties include:-
- Handling products which vary in weight
- Spot welding parts together
- Assembling items
- Repacking
- Checking for quality control before despatch
Skills/experience required
- Previous experience within a similar role, technician, assembler, mechanical production, manufacturing or basic engineering
- Hands on, enjoys working with component parts and building/fixing products
- A keen eye for detail and takes pride in work
- Reasonably fit as this requires some physical work
- Calm under pressure, easy going, friendly and a team player
