Credit Controller
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Hybrid Working: 2 days in the office, 3 from home
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join a newly formed finance team within a thriving and fast-growing global business. Based in Uxbridge, this company is undergoing significant transformation, making it a fantastic time to come on board.
This position would suit someone with a solid background in credit control, looking to further develop their skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Producing aged debt reports and maintaining clear and accurate debtor records
• Reconciling customer accounts and identifying discrepancies
• Chasing overdue payments via telephone and email
• Providing weekly cash receipt forecasts to the Credit Team Leader or Manager
• Issuing regular statements and maintaining strong communication with debtors
• Ensuring ledgers are clean and up to date
• Handling general debtor correspondence and queries
• Supporting sales and coordination teams with account information
• Highlighting persistent defaulters and initiating legal action when necessary
• Supporting credit checks for new customers
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a credit control position (ideally within a high-volume or international setting)
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with financial systems
• Exposure to multi-currency accounts would be beneficial
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional manner
