My client a very busy Legal Firm now require and additional Administrator to join their existing admin team.
An interest in law would be great but its not essential- please note that if you are a law graduate this is NOT a role that will offer quick career advancement!
Full training will be given for this position, but you will require excellent telephone manner, acute attention to detail, the ability to manage a great many legal cases.
Role Duties
• Managing incoming telephone calls from the police, crown courts as well as clients
• Processing of web applications for legal assistance
• Updating the case management system daily
• Diarising and scheduling court dates
• Lots of proof reading of legal letters and documentation
• Chasing up info and data for solicitors
• Liaising with clients and bail officer regarding parole dates
• Opening/closing criminal files
• Managing case files data
Experience needed
• Brilliant attention to detail and good MS Office skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Confident- able to ask pertinent questions
• Assertive and quick to learn
• Extremely thorough in approach
