Delivery Driver / Installer
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Salary: £32,000- Plus excellent benefits package
Hours: Up to 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday (start time 6.30am )
Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver & Installer to join our client's dynamic Transport Team. This role involves delivering and installing of products to their customers' satisfaction, and exceeding expectations!!
Please note that this position will sometimes involve overnight stays if the journey is a long one. For this you will be put up in a hotel and all expensed for the length of your trip.
The successful candidate will be over 25 years and have no more than 6 points on your licence.
This vacancy will be hired on a permanent basis so, make it through the interview stage and the job is yours! Starting as soon as possible, this Delivery Driver will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the deliveries and installations of the goods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily delivery runs with professionalism and efficiency.
• Deliver and install products, ensuring careful handling and attention to detail.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks to maintain safety standards.
• Adhere to company policies and administrative procedures for smooth business operations.
• Collaborate effectively with the Transport team and communicate promptly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Overcome obstacles and adapt to varying conditions while on the road.
• Maintain service levels and achieve targets to contribute to sales growth.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required to support team objectives.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Profile:
• Experience as a delivery driver with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to enter customers' homes with professionalism and respect.
• Flexible availability for varying start times, Monday to Friday.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience in a physical role, delivery role as part of a 2 man crew.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Transport Manager and is based at our client's UK head office in Hayes, Middlesex.
