Finance Assistant
Location: Ruislip
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (early finish at 4pm on Fridays)

This Finance Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone with solid all-round accounts experience who is ambitious and eager to grow. You’ll be working closely with the Finance Manager as part of a high-performing team, gaining broad exposure across the finance function while being supported through your studies.

Duties will include:
• Creating and maintaining supplier accounts, ensuring approval processes are followed
• Accurately posting supplier invoices across multiple business units
• Matching invoices, purchase orders and goods received notes (2- and 3-way match)
• Liaising with suppliers and internal staff to resolve invoice queries
• Initiating supplier payments via online banking and allocating in the system
• Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing employee and credit card expenses using Concur and reconciling monthly
• Maintaining daily cashbooks and performing weekly bank reconciliations
• Posting inter-company journals and reconciling transactions
What you’ll need:
• Currently studying (or planning to study) AAT, CIMA or ACCA
• Proven accounts experience across AP, reconciliations and general ledger
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills (Dynamics experience a plus, training offered)
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
