Forklift Driver – Reach & Counterbalance (Temporary)
Location: Hayes
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (DOE) + Holiday Pay
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 and 12:00 – 20:00 (alternating weeks)
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver with a Reach Truck licence (Counterbalance experience desirable) to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Hayes. This is a temporary position, perfect for someone looking for immediate work within a dynamic and well-established business.
About the Role: As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, supporting various departments including inventory, logistics, and transport. You’ll be responsible for loading/unloading, stock movement, and general warehouse duties while operating Reach & Counterbalance forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Reach & Counterbalance forklifts to move and store stock efficiently.
- Picking, packing, and scanning orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with inventory management.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and operating efficiently.
- Assisting warehouse colleagues as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Reach Truck licence (essential) and Counterbalance forklift experience (preferred).
- Previous warehouse and manual handling experience.
- Basic IT skills – ability to scan and locate stock using warehouse systems.
- Strong team player with a reliable and adaptable approach.
