People, HR & Payroll Administrator
Salary: £32,500 – £40,000 (DOE)
Location / Hybrid: Walton on Thames – hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home)

Our client, a highly successful global organisation, is seeking a People, HR & Payroll Administrator to join their established HR team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment led by an experienced HR leader, offering exposure across HR operations, payroll, and employee engagement.

The role would suit someone with previous HR administration experience who enjoys a varied position, combining people support with payroll responsibility.

The role:

This position plays a key role in supporting the People and HR function, with ownership of payroll processes and responsibility for ensuring accurate and efficient coordination across a wide range of HR activities.

Duties include:

Maintaining employee records within HR systems and personnel files
Managing employer records with third-party providers
Taking ownership of payroll collation and submission to the external provider
Processing HR-related invoices and maintaining financial records
Supporting onboarding processes, including preparing new starter materials
Assisting with employee offboarding processes
Responding to internal and external HR queries
Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation
Supporting the preparation of reports, metrics, and documentation
Coordinating training and development activities and tracking progress
Assisting with employee engagement initiatives and internal events
Supporting recruitment processes, including posting adverts and scheduling interviews
Providing general administrative support and assisting with HR projects

Experience/skills required:

Previous experience within an HR administration or similar role
Experience supporting payroll processes or payroll administration
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a busy environment
A proactive, positive approach and interest in people-focused roles
CIPD Level 3 or working towards would be advantageous but not essential
