Credit Controller
Salary: £30,000 plus bonus of up to 40% (OTE £42,000)
Location / Hybrid: Uxbridge, Middlesex – Hybrid Working
Our client, a growing and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. The role:
Working as part of a busy finance team, you will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue debt, reconciling customer accounts and helping to ensure the company's financial records remain accurate and up to date. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Duties include:
* Contacting clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding debt
* Managing and collecting overdue debt
* Raising credit notes, completing account reconciliations and tracking authorisations
* Developing and monitoring individual account action plans
* Attending monthly credit meetings and recommending appropriate next steps
* Maintaining detailed and accurate customer account records
* Supporting the litigation process when required
Working hours:
* Hybrid working arrangement
* Rotating pattern of three days in the office one week and two days in the office the next
* During the week of month end, attendance in the office is required for five days
Experience/skills required:
* Previous Credit Control experience is essential
* Numerate, analytical and confident when chasing outstanding payments
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using databases
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Friendly, professional communicator with a customer-focused approach
