Unfortunately, we have received reports that someone is fraudulently impersonating one of our team and is messaging people via WhatsApp whilst pretending to represent us.
This is obviously devasting news as we have spent many years building our reputation. The Consultant who has been impersonated has spent years working her way up from Trainee to Senior Consultant and it very upsetting to think her reputation is being misused this way.
We are reaching out to our network to support us in trying to put an end to this. Thankfully, we have been sent some examples of the communication and quickly identified that this is a phishing attack. With this, we can provide you with some guidance as to the tell-tale signs of this phishing attempt:
