Delivery Driver
Location: Near Uxbridge
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour + performance-based bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Looking for a stable, full-time driving role with a well-established business? We’re recruiting for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join a friendly team near Uxbridge. If you’ve got experience in delivery or removals, and speak Portuguese or Spanish, this could be a great fit – but full training will be provided for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering and collecting storage boxes and household goods (up to 40 stops per day)
• Ensuring secure handling of all items, especially fragile goods
• Following pre-planned delivery routes and communicating with customers if delays occur
• Keeping delivery records accurate and submitting documentation on time
• Maintaining the cleanliness, condition, and readiness of the company vehicle
• Communicating with the office team regarding route changes, delivery issues, or delays
• Occasionally handling payments and providing excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For:
• A full, clean UK driving licence (no disqualifications in the past 3 years)
• Previous driving experience, ideally in delivery or removals
• Strong communication skills and a polite, professional manner
• Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items
• Someone who takes pride in their work and vehicle
• Portuguese or Spanish language skills would be a bonus
• A military background or knowledge of professional packing techniques would also be an advantage
