Materials Planner - Temporary
Location: Greenford
Rate: £15.18 per hour
Contract: Temporary – Minimum 2 Months (Potential to Extend)
Are you experienced in supply chain or purchasing and ready to jump into a fast-paced role with an immediate start? We’re working with a busy and expanding organisation in the Greenford area who need a proactive and detail-driven Materials Planner to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a key support role, working closely with the Head Buyer and Engineering Team to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. If you're someone who thrives under pressure, has great Excel skills, and can hit the ground running—read on!
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Managing day-to-day purchasing and requisitions
• Raising and processing POs accurately and promptly
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure best value and timely deliveries
• Acting as a key contact for procurement queries
• Resolving pricing issues and invoice discrepancies
• Supporting internal teams with supply chain queries
• Assisting on procurement projects and contract reviews
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven background in supply chain, purchasing or procurement
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Confident managing workload in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach with great attention to detail
• A strong team player with a can-do attitude
