Part-Time Shipping & Purchasing Administrator (12-Month FTC)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 pro rata (DOE)
Location: Wembley
Our client, a well-established global organisation, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Shipping & Purchasing Administrator to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with proven import/export experience who is looking for a varied role within a fast-paced and professional environment.
Working three full days per week, this role offers a great balance while still providing exposure to a broad range of logistics and purchasing responsibilities within a supportive team.
The role:
This position is centred around shipping and purchasing administration, requiring someone who can confidently manage import/export documentation, coordinate shipments, and support supplier processes while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties include:
Preparing and processing shipping and import/export documentation
Organising domestic and international shipments and tracking deliveries
Ensuring compliance with shipping, VAT, and import/export regulations
Creating and processing purchase orders and maintaining supplier records
Monitoring inventory levels and supporting stock accuracy
Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments
Updating and maintaining CRM and ERP systems
Producing reports and maintaining accurate records across all activities
Working pattern:
Part-time position working 3 full days per week
12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover)
Immediate start available
Experience/skills required:
Previous experience within shipping, logistics, or supply chain administration
Proven experience preparing and managing import and export documentation (essential)
Experience supporting purchasing or procurement activities
Strong working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Confident communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Able to work effectively in a busy environment
Available to start immediately or at short notice
