Social Content Editor
Salary: £23.94–£25.94 per hour
Location / Hybrid: London – Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Our client, a globally recognised organisation, is seeking a talented Social Content Editor to join their creative studio on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to create engaging social-first content for a portfolio of iconic brands with passionate communities and global audiences.
The role would suit a creative video editor with a strong understanding of social media, digital storytelling and audience engagement. If you're passionate about creating content that captures attention and drives interaction, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on well-known brands while collaborating with an experienced creative team.
The role:
Working alongside designers, creatives and social media specialists, you will create compelling content across multiple social platforms, producing high-quality edits and motion graphics that resonate with audiences around the world. You'll combine creativity with an understanding of platform performance to deliver engaging content for both organic and paid campaigns.
Duties include:
* Editing social-first video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms
* Creating engaging motion graphics to support organic and paid social campaigns
* Producing content with platform performance in mind, including strong hooks, pacing, captions and audience retention
* Creating engaging content for global communities, fans and highly engaged audiences
* Collaborating with creative teams, designers, social media specialists and channel experts
* Using AI-powered creative tools to enhance workflows and generate innovative content ideas
Experience/skills required:
* Strong video editing skills with a social-first approach
* Previous experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
* Experience with additional editing tools such as DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
* A genuine passion for digital culture, social media trends and online communities
* Experience creating content for highly engaged audiences and brand communities
* Good understanding of social media algorithms, audience behaviour and content performance
* Interest in emerging AI tools and how they can support creative production
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a creative team
