Sales Administrator
Location: Langley
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Hybrid working available after probation (3 months)
Are you a whizz at sales order processing and customer admin with an eagle eye for detail? We’re looking for a Sales Administrator to join a friendly, fast-paced team in a busy office-based support role. This is a great opportunity to become part of a well-established manufacturing business that prides itself on customer satisfaction, accuracy, and collaboration.
About the Role: You’ll be part of a small team that works closely with the sales department to ensure that orders are processed efficiently, deliveries go out on time, and customer queries are handled with care. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, seeing a job through to the end, and being the backbone of a sales team—this could be just your thing.
What you’ll be doing:
– Processing customer orders from start to finish
– Managing the shared sales inbox and responding to queries
– Preparing customer quotes accurately and promptly
– Following up on deliveries and handling post-delivery queries
– Liaising with internal teams on production or delivery issues
– Logging customer updates and activities on the CRM
– Chasing overdue invoices and helping reconcile basic account queries
– Issuing despatch notes and keeping customer records up to date
What we’re looking for:
– Proven admin experience in a sales or order processing environment
– Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail (this will be tested!)
– Exposure to basic credit control or finance tasks
– Comfortable using CRM systems and Excel for reporting
– Able to manage multiple priorities with calm and confidence
– A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
– Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t leave a task half done
