Signage Technician / Graphic Designer
Location: Ascot
Salary: Circa £26,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 4.00pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Do you have a flair for design and a hands-on attitude? We’re working with a brilliant local business in the signage industry who are looking to expand their team with a creative and practical Signage Technician / Graphic Designer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team and see your work go from screen to final product. If you’ve got experience in signage design or production, and love blending creative software with real-world results – this could be the perfect next step.
The role will involve:
– Working from client briefs to plan signage work and design concepts
– Using graphic design software to create pre-fabrication files
– Conducting on-site surveys to gather measurements and assess installation requirements
– Preparing quotes and estimating materials and production time
– Selecting the right materials and components for each job
– Hands-on fabrication and assembly of signs
– Scheduling and planning workload to meet deadlines and client expectations
– Collaborating with your team to ensure every project is delivered to a high standard
To be considered, you’ll need:
– Previous experience in a similar signage or graphic design role
– Strong attention to detail and great organisation skills
– Confident use of design software (e.g. Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar)
– A practical mindset and the ability to lift and handle large items
– A friendly and team-oriented approach
