Head of Commercial Growth
Salary: £100,000 + quarterly bonus scheme
Location / Hybrid: Ruislip, West London – hybrid (4 days office / 1 day home)

Our client, a highly respected and growing organisation, is seeking an exceptional Head of Commercial Growth to join their Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal leadership role, created to drive the next phase of business growth by bringing together sales, marketing, and data insight functions under a single commercial lead.

The role:

As the Head of Commercial Growth, you will take ownership of the entire commercial engine of the business, leading teams across sales, marketing, and data insights to create a high-performing growth function.

Commercial & Sales Leadership

Developing and executing the commercial growth strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets
Leading both client retention and new business acquisition activities
Building and maintaining senior-level relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Leading high-value commercial opportunities, pitches, and strategic negotiations
Driving forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial reporting
Ensuring propositions remain competitive while protecting profitability and margins

Marketing Leadership

Leading the marketing function to strengthen brand positioning and lead generation
Developing integrated campaigns that generate qualified commercial opportunities
Aligning marketing and sales activity to improve conversion and acquisition
Overseeing content, digital activity, events, and brand development initiatives
Establishing clear performance metrics and measuring ROI across marketing activity

Data Insights & Growth Strategy

Leading the development of insight-led propositions to support revenue growth
Using market intelligence and client data to identify commercial opportunities
Translating insights into meaningful client conversations and value-led solutions
Driving the use of data, analytics, and reporting to support decision-making and forecasting
Identifying emerging trends and future growth opportunities in collaboration with leadership

Leadership & Collaboration

Leading, mentoring, and developing a multi-disciplinary commercial team
Creating a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Working closely with operational and client service teams to ensure delivery aligns with commercial commitments
Acting as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to wider business strategy

Experience/skills required:

Significant experience within a senior commercial, sales, growth, or client leadership role
Background within agency, media, marketing services, consultancy, or similar environments
Proven experience leading sales, marketing, and/or business development functions
Strong understanding of data-driven marketing, insight, and commercial strategy
Track record of delivering sustained revenue growth and building high-performing teams
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial acumen with strategic and operational capability
Confident communicator with the ability to influence at executive and board level
