Temporary Scheduler
Location: Uxbridge
Rate: £14.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary – Approx. 2 Months (Potential for Extension)

Are you a scheduling professional with excellent coordination skills and the ability to think on your feet? We’re working with a global organisation in Uxbridge who need short-term support from someone who can hit the ground running in a busy service environment.

If you enjoy working at pace and have a knack for keeping engineers and customers happy through efficient planning and clear communication, this could be the perfect interim opportunity.

About the Role: In this pivotal role, you’ll coordinate service visits, inspections, and installations across the business. Acting as the bridge between internal teams, field engineers and clients, you’ll ensure scheduling runs smoothly, any delays are managed professionally, and the service team remains one step ahead of daily challenges.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

– Assigning jobs and service visits to engineers via the Service Desk system
– Arranging preventative maintenance and compliance checks
– Assisting with scheduling larger installation projects and monitoring timelines
– Handling incoming queries from engineers and clients, adjusting plans as needed
– Producing service quotes and advising customers of any delays
– Reworking schedules throughout the day to reflect priority changes or urgent requests
– Collaborating across departments to ensure service delivery is streamlined
– Building rapport with customers and adding value through your communication

What we’re looking for:

– Experience in a Scheduler, Service Coordinator, or Dispatch role
– Highly organised, responsive, and able to juggle multiple demands
– A confident communicator who stays calm under pressure
– Naturally proactive and eager to resolve problems efficiently
– Comfortable working in a structured environment with defined workflows
