Part-Time Laboratory Cleaning Coordinator – Long-Term Temp
Location: Hayes
Hourly Rate: £13.20 per hour
Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 9am–5pm (with optional Fridays, 9am–12pm)

This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy sensory testing facility with all the behind-the-scenes preparation and cleaning tasks that keep it running like clockwork.
You’ll need to be physically active, highly organised, and comfortable following strict cleaning protocols in a scientific environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Washing, cleaning and preparing test materials following defined guidelines
• Managing multiple washing machines and handling chemicals safely
• Tidying and maintaining a sterile environment in both the lab and prep areas
• Restocking cleaning materials and logging usage
• Carrying materials and equipment between rooms/floors
• Keeping accurate records using Microsoft Office
• Coordinating with sensory testing teams to ensure timely delivery of items
Who We’re Looking For:
• Someone with previous cleaning, lab support or facilities experience in a regulated or clinical setting
• Great communication skills and a team mindset
• High levels of accuracy and ability to follow process to the letter
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet most of the day
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work at pace when required
• Confident using basic IT (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
