GP Accounts & Tax Manager
Salary: Circa £55,000 + excellent company benefits
Location / Hybrid: London – hybrid working available

Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced GP Accounts & Tax Manager to join their specialist healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong sector knowledge to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while working closely with senior stakeholders in a supportive and professional environment.

The role offers a mix of accounts, tax, and advisory work, with a particular focus on GP practices and healthcare clients.

Duties include:

Managing a portfolio of GP and healthcare sector clients
Preparing and reviewing partnership accounts for medical practices
Overseeing personal and partnership tax compliance
Advising clients on drawings, profit allocations, and tax matters
Handling pension-related processes and submissions
Supporting the preparation and submission of annual estimates
Liaising with clients and responding to queries in a timely manner
Providing guidance and support to junior team members
Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery

Experience/skills required:

Previous experience working with GP practices or healthcare sector clients
Strong understanding of partnership accounts and tax compliance
Knowledge of NHS pension processes and related requirements
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
